Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and school documentation processes
- Flexibility to travel between up to three campuses as part of an itinerant role
- Current IVP Fingerprint Card (or eligible to obtain)
- Ability to collaborate with supervising Occupational Therapists and educators
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, promoting achievement and independence
- Work closely with supervising Occupational Therapist, receiving guidance and support
- Track progress and document student outcomes according to district and legal guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with special education teams, teachers, and families across assigned school sites
- Support implementation of individualized therapy goals in classroom, group, and one-on-one settings
- Adapt activities and interventions to fit a range of mild to severe needs
