Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Roseville, CA

In this vital role, you’ll work approximately 24 hours each week with elementary-aged students, addressing a variety of speech and language needs. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow specialists, all focused on supporting growth and achievement in communication skills.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current California Speech Language Pathologist license required
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation for children
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans targeting student goals
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate speech-language support into classroom activities
- Provide guidance and education to families and school personnel regarding student progress and strategies
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services provided
