Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist in developing and implementing therapeutic activities that strengthen fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
- Collaborate with occupational therapists to assess student needs, document progress, and modify plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed, offering insights into therapy goals and student progress
- Educate teachers and families on strategies to support carryover of therapeutic techniques within the classroom and at home
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance guidelines
