Key Qualifications:
- Current COTA licensure in Missouri.
- Previous experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings is preferred.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families.
- Familiarity with school-based therapy, IEP documentation, and progress monitoring.
- Adaptable, compassionate, and able to manage a flexible caseload across multiple grade levels.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Carry out treatment plans developed by an Occupational Therapist for students with a range of needs.
- Provide direct services individually or in groups, focusing on skills such as fine motor coordination and sensory processing.
- Collect data and track student progress, contributing to comprehensive IEP reporting.
- Utilize creativity to adapt activities and learning environments for student success.
- Collaborate with educators, OTs, and other specialists to deliver integrated support.
- Participate in school team meetings as needed to advocate for student needs and goals.
