Key Qualifications:
- Valid COTA license required
- Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, or high school level strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and documentation standards
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt activities and interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Experience supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions to students as prescribed by supervising occupational therapist
- Assist in implementing and monitoring therapy goals within the student’s educational plan
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure continuity of care
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Support the promotion of independence and functional skills in classroom and daily school activities
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to support student success
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
