Qualifications:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Prior school-based COTA experience (required)
- Ability to work onsite during standard school hours (40 hrs/week)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to professional excellence and student success
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of occupational therapy plans designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to promote skills needed for academic and daily living success
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate updates effectively
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Follow all school policies, ethical guidelines, and professional standards
