Key Qualifications:
- Active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Valid educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Prior experience in school settings is strongly preferred
- Strong adaptability for working with varied student ages and needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Preparedness to complete time-sensitive fingerprinting as required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse abilities, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support clinicians and educators by providing insightful observations and reports on students’ progress
- Employ engaging, evidence-based interventions that foster skill-building in academic and functional areas
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to promote student success in inclusive school environments
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation according to district and regulatory guidelines
- Flexibly adjust to different school schedules, providing coverage as needed across various school sites
