Qualifications & Experience
- Current and valid state licensure as a COTA
- Experience supporting pediatric populations, preferably within a school setting
- Strong collaborative and communication skills with students, faculty, and families
- Flexibility and commitment to meeting students’ individual therapy goals
- Ability to work full-time, onsite, for the duration of the assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing therapeutic activities under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills to thrive in their educational environment
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of sessions and student progress
- Work closely with educational staff to integrate therapy into classroom activities when appropriate
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the planning and evaluation of individualized treatment plans
