Desired Qualifications:
- Valid COTA certification and licensure in Connecticut
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication skills with students, educators, and families
- Collaborative attitude and ability to adapt to dynamic classroom environments
- Solid understanding of IEPs, therapy documentation, and related best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group occupational therapy sessions as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and other school staff to develop effective treatment plans
- Assist students in developing functional skills for classroom participation, including fine motor, sensory, and adaptive abilities
- Monitor and report on student progress, documenting outcomes and communicating results to the educational team
- Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging school culture
