Qualifications:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license for CT and successful completion of the NBCOT exam
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with students from a range of ages and abilities
- Reliable transportation to travel across school sites as needed
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across Pre-K through 12th grade under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support student development and participation in educational activities
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records
- Collaborate effectively with educational teams, teachers, families, and other therapy professionals
- Adapt activities and interventions to best meet diverse student needs
- Contribute positively to an inclusive and supportive school environment
