Qualifications & Experience:
- Active COTA certification in Connecticut required
- Preferably possesses experience in a school-based setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, students, and families
- Ability to adapt to multiple sites and work with a variety of age groups within K–12
- Commitment to supporting the holistic development of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to K–12 students as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate as part of multidisciplinary support teams across multiple campuses
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Assist students with developing and refining motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive techniques for increased classroom participation
- Travel between school sites as assigned to deliver scheduled services
