What We're Looking For:
- Active COTA licensure in the state is required
- Experience or passion for pediatric care, especially within school environments
- Ability to develop rapport with students, teachers, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to adapting therapy interventions as needed
- Previous experience in a school or similar setting preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering individualized and group occupational therapy services for students, following treatment plans established by licensed occupational therapists
- Monitor progress and document student performance, communicating updates with supervising therapists and educational teams
- Support students in achieving IEP goals related to motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Adapt materials, strategies, and environments to improve student access and participation in classrooms
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
