We have an opening for a Special Education Teacher in our school district and are actively interviewing candidates. Position Details
Weekdays
Start date: August 2026 - June 2027
Pay: $35.5/hr-43/hr depending on experience (paid every Friday)
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with fellow educators and support staff
- Utilize diverse instructional strategies tailored to different learning needs
- Communicate effectively with families and school personnel
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment
Are you who we're looking for?
Qualifications
- Valid Kentucky SPED License required
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting preferred
- Flexibility and willingness to travel; position is onsite only
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
