Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid OT license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to supervise and mentor COTAs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Confidence in evaluating and managing a varied K-12 caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite OT services to a manageable group of approximately 20 students
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Supervise and support two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
- Document progress, ensure best practices, and uphold compliance standards
