This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a compassionate and skilled OT who thrives working with children and enjoys collaborating within an educational environment.
You’ll be providing vital OT support across two elementary schools, helping students develop the skills they need to participate fully in their school day. Your dedication will drive meaningful change in both classroom and daily life for your young clients.
What we’re looking for:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Georgia
- Experience working as an OT with elementary-age children, preferably in a school-based setting
- Solid communication skills and ability to connect with young students, families, and school staff
- Dedication to supporting individualized student goals in partnership with educators
- A collaborative mindset and adaptability to diverse student needs
- Reliable and flexible attitude for travel between school sites as needed
Key responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services as outlined by students’ IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and IEP teams
- Document sessions, progress, and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute expertise to team meetings and help educate staff about effective OT strategies
The contract spans from November 9th, 2026, through February 1st, 2027, and covers 37.5 hours per week across both Pine Log Elementary and Cloverleaf Elementary. The student caseload will be confirmed prior to placement so you can plan accordingly.
