Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License required
- Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12, addressing a range of communication, articulation, and language disorders
- Conduct assessments and create tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering student growth
- Maintain thorough records and progress reports in alignment with school and state requirements
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop comprehensive support strategies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable input on student goals and outcomes
- Adapt interventions and materials to suit a variety of learning styles and needs
This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing consistency and a healthy work-life balance.
