Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings
- Confidence in supporting students with a range of abilities, including those with severe developmental needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and flexibly adapt to varying needs
Role Highlights:
- Provide direct OT services to a predominantly elementary-aged population, fostering skills for classroom success and everyday function
- Deliver focused interventions and supports to a small number of students with more significant developmental challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings, develop and update goals, and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Work primarily within the district for four days each week, with one day providing services in a nearby district, offering variety and a broader professional experience
- Collaborate with staff to deliver strategies and resources that benefit the entire educational team
