Occupational Therapist School Setting in Anoka, MN

Bring your expertise as a dedicated Occupational Therapist to an impactful contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and development. This position offers both full-time and long-term substitute openings scheduled to begin September 8, 2026, through June 10, 2027. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week serving a manageable caseload of 20-40 students in a single educational setting, giving you the stability to create meaningful therapeutic relationships and drive positive change.
What We’re Seeking:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability to support both full-year and interim (long-term sub) assignments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Utilize creative, evidence-based interventions to help students develop life, sensory, and motor skills within the school environment
- Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to integrate therapy into classroom activities
- Maintain thorough, timely records and contribute to IEP development and meetings
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that helps each student reach their fullest potential
