Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Minnesota, or COTA license with willingness to be supervised by a licensed OT
- Previous experience working in a school environment, especially with K-8 or K-5 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly valued
- Commitment to evidence-based interventions and individualized care
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, student-centered workplace
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services and support to students with a variety of needs, focusing on foundational K-5 skills
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, maintain records, and track student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to provide input and recommendations
- Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that empowers all learners
- If COTA, partner closely with supervising OT for program implementation
