School Occupational Therapist | Anoka, Minnesota
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students through transformative occupational therapy services in an educational setting. Multiple positions are available: two full-time roles and a long-term substitute role, all beginning September 8, 2026, and extending through June 10, 2027. This onsite position offers the chance to work closely with dedicated professionals in a collaborative, student-centered environment. With a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, you’ll divide your expertise among one of several education centers in the Anoka, MN area.
Qualifications:
- Valid OT license for the state is required
- Strong background in school-based occupational therapy—experience with pediatric and adolescent populations is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication—able to collaborate well with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
- All required licensure and credentials must be current and submitted with your application
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services onsite to students, promoting their participation and success within educational programs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans tailored to support each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with instructional staff and families on strategies that foster student independence and achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Adapt interventions and reporting to best support evolving caseload needs
