Occupational Therapist School Setting in Arlington Heights, IL

Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Comfortable working with elementary school-aged children (K–5th grade)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- A passion for helping young learners build independence and confidence
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct onsite occupational therapy services to elementary students, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support teams
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and caregivers to enhance student outcomes
