Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
- Demonstrated ability to assess student needs and create individualized intervention plans
- Creative problem-solver with a passion for working alongside diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to a caseload of approximately 20 students onsite
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop goals tailored to each child’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to facilitate student success
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with all regulations and school protocols
- Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance students’ academic engagement and independence
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for individualized education plans
In this role, you’ll enjoy a predictable schedule working 1.5 days per week (16 hours) during the academic year, allowing for excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to pursue professional growth.
