Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Georgia
- Previous experience or strong interest in working within a school environment
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to the needs of individual students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess students’ abilities, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress toward established goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student participation in classroom activities and promote functional independence
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided, screenings, and evaluations
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise on student needs and interventions
