Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for California
- Extensive knowledge of school-based OT practice
- Experience with moderate to severe caseloads, ideally in K-12 settings
- Previous experience in California schools highly desirable
- Strong ability to coordinate across multiple sites and adapt to varied learning environments
- Excellent assessment, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable providing both direct and consultative services
- Must be available for on-site work exclusively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions to K-12 students
- Conduct formal and informal assessments to determine student needs
- Provide consultation to educational teams, ensuring effective integration of therapy goals
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing expert insight and collaborative planning
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school standards
- Travel between multiple school sites within the district as needed
