- Prior experience working in school settings is required
- Strong understanding of IEP documentation and process
- Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering supportive, inclusive learning environments
- Completed CSA on file
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students identified with or suspected of having occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to support students’ academic and functional independence
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other disciplines to ensure students’ needs are met
- Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments to interventions as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings as a vital therapy resource and advocate for each student
- Educate staff and families on supportive strategies for classroom and home settings
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely compliance with all relevant regulations and district guidelines
