Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience delivering OT services in a school environment preferred
- Familiarity with assessment tools, treatment planning, and documentation specific to school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Understanding of IEP processes and compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate fine motor, sensory, and functional skills affecting educational participation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
- Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and data for ongoing assessment
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to generalize skills across school activities
- Participate in student support and multidisciplinary meetings as needed
