Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy or similar pediatric settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized care
- Ability to travel between two nearby school campuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs within educational environments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs and school objectives
- Provide direct intervention to students in both middle and high school age groups
- Consult with teachers and parents to support classroom accommodations and student participation
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress reports, and session notes for all assigned students
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to team-based decision-making
