Occupational Therapist School Setting - Islip Terrace, NY

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (NY State)
- Experience providing OT services in school settings, particularly middle school, strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP goals, student documentation, and adherence to state and school regulations
- Skilled in individual and small group direct therapy, with the ability to flex service hours as needed
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to assigned caseload (primarily 30-minute sessions)
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with school staff and parents
- Complete required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development as needed
- Conduct re-evaluations and update treatment approaches as required
