Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current, valid Occupational Therapy license—please attach your license upon application
- Previous experience supporting students in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with teachers, administrators, and students
- A commitment to best practices in therapy and individualized student care
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs across multiple school sites within the district
- Conduct student assessments and work collaboratively to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district standards and federal guidelines
- Communicate regularly with staff and families to support the needs of each student served
- Engage in district-mandated onboarding, including completion of a contractor packet and necessary background checks
Important Application Notes: Candidates must pay for CBC fingerprinting ($85) and complete required paperwork, including a TB test (unless providing services virtually), fingerprint receipt, and Child Protective Registry Check. Processing of documentation can take several business days before final clearance and badge appointment.
