School Occupational Therapist | Beaumont, California
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as an Occupational Therapist supporting learners from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract opportunity places you onsite, collaborating across multiple school locations and working with a diverse caseload of about 55 students. You will play a critical role in helping students reach their full potential by addressing challenges to their participation and performance at school.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Prior experience leading and contributing to IEP meetings
- Comfort with SEIS or similar electronic IEP management systems preferred
- Strong technological skills: adept with digital documentation platforms and systems
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and with families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with a range of needs in the TK–12 setting
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment goals, and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educators at multiple sites to carry out IEP goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and helping guide planning for student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using digital platforms
- Support students’ inclusion and engagement across all school environments
