School Occupational Therapist - Bel Air, Maryland

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing school-based occupational therapy services in a vibrant community just outside Baltimore County. This role invites you to make a significant impact in the lives of mostly elementary and some secondary students from the start of the upcoming academic year.
In this position, you'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support students’ development and foster independence. With up to 40 hours a week across a standard school schedule, there’s room to fully immerse yourself in therapy plans, assessments, and team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license valid in Maryland (MD OT License required)
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based OT settings
- Comfort with a diverse caseload, primarily elementary with some secondary students
- Ability to start on August 24, 2026
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classroom and pull-out settings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity and effectiveness of interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
Pay for this assignment is $45–$50 per hour, with weekly pay provided.
