Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of Washington
- Experience working within school settings
- Knowledge of IEPs and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary educational teams
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to diverse needs and age groups
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to inform IEP development and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support educational goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop and adapt treatment activities to foster skill development, independence, and participation in classroom routines
- Promote an inclusive and supportive environment for all students
This position offers a part-time (1-2 days/7-14 hours weekly) schedule with significant flexibility, supporting work-life balance and continued professional growth. Start immediately and make a meaningful impact throughout the entire school year through June 11, 2027.
