School Occupational Therapist - Bellingham, Washington

Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active OT license in the state of Washington (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with IEPs, student documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability, professionalism, and a student-centered mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver therapy services aligned with IEP goals, integrating innovative and evidence-based approaches
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student access to learning
- Provide regular progress reports and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to best support each student’s needs
- Offer consultation and training to staff to facilitate classroom adaptations and modifications
