With a flexible start in July and an evolving caseload as referrals develop, this position is ideal for a seasoned OT eager to make a lasting impact within schools, following state credentialing requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid, active occupational therapy licensure in Pennsylvania
- Minimum of one year of experience working as an OT in a school-based setting (new graduates cannot be considered)
- Familiarity with early intervention and preschool student needs
- Ability to adapt services as caseload and hours increase throughout the school year
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy to preschool-aged students, adhering to IEPs and supporting functional developmental goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure holistic support
- Conduct ongoing assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress according to regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insights for student growth
- Manage a flexible schedule, starting with part-time summer hours (approximately 15 hours/week), expanding during the academic term
