You’ll work with a manageable and well-organized caseload of 28 students, ranging from PreK to 12th grade, across a supportive environment that values both collaboration and professional autonomy.
This contract position offers a stable schedule—30 hours per week across four days—giving you meaningful work–life balance. Most of your week will focus on individualized services and small-group interventions, with one day dedicated to specific interventions, allowing you to use your specialized skills to their fullest.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license required
- Experience with school-based OT services preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behavior
- Develop and implement IEP goals in close coordination with teachers, staff, and families
- Conduct assessments and prepare documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer consultative support to educators and families for classroom modifications and student needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive school community
