Occupational Therapist (OT) – Long-Term Substitute
Location: Westerville, OH
Duration: December 2026 – End of March 2027
Hours: Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, long-term substitute contract in Westerville, Ohio. In this role, you will support a balanced caseload across two supportive school environments, helping students build independence, fine motor coordination, and self-regulation skills to succeed in the classroom.
Position Details
Caseload: Full caseload (~50 students)
Placements: Split between one Elementary School and one Middle School campus
Assignment Dates: Beginning early December 2026 through the end of March 2027
Schedule: Standard school-day hours (Monday – Friday)
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services per students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Monitor student progress, adjust treatment interventions, and maintain compliant IEP documentation and session notes
Collaborate with special education teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and parents
Participate in multidisciplinary team evaluations and attend IEP meetings as needed
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Active or pending Occupational Therapist license in the state of Ohio (OH OTPTAT Board)
Ohio Department of Education (ODE) credential or eligibility to obtain
Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
