Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure required
- Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Home health and general healthcare occupational therapy background a plus
- Skilled at evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized student interventions
- Adaptable approach to diverse student needs, from elementary through high school
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for students in PreK–6th and 10th–12th grades
- Develop and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to ages and developmental levels
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to ensure seamless therapy integration and student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy plans, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight into student goals and accommodations
- Support generalization of OT strategies across home and classroom settings
