You’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students develop the skills they need to succeed both in and outside the classroom. With support from a dedicated team, you’ll build relationships that make a lasting difference over the course of the school year.
What You’ll Need:
- Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapy License
- Experience in school-based or pediatric OT highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans
- Passion for helping students achieve independence and confidence
- Availability for a 3-day, 24-hour work week
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K–8 students, individually and in groups
- Evaluate student needs using assessment tools and observations
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans
- Document progress, maintain compliance with IEP goals, and prepare detailed reports
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and classroom strategies
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and school initiatives
