Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Pennsylvania
- Graduation from an accredited OT program
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
- Adaptability and creativity to address student needs across a variety of classroom settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students referred through the school system
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student access to the educational curriculum
- Provide direct and consultative OT services within classroom and pull-out settings
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering expert input and collaborating on goals
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs
