Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of New York
- Degree from an accredited OT program
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and IEP processes

- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Passion for fostering student independence and participation in classroom environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans to support educational goals
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across the district
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute therapy goals and progress updates
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Adapt strategies and interventions to address diverse student needs
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to promote carryover of skills
- Assist with classroom modifications and sensory supports as needed
