Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- State licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in school settings preferred (K-12)
- Strong skills in planning and delivering therapy to students in both individual and group formats
- Comfortable adapting interventions for a broad spectrum of needs and ages
- Effective communicator with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Self-motivated, organized, and committed to helping students reach their goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services primarily to elementary (K-2, 3-5), with additional services to middle and high school students
- Manage a caseload including 9.5 direct hours each for K-2 and 3-5, 4.5 direct hours for middle school, and 1 hour for a high school student—some students may be grouped for therapy
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy goals, and document progress
- Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy outcomes within the classroom
- Engage families in the therapy process and maintain regular communication
- Adapt session plans to support the diverse developmental and educational needs of students
