Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Ability to design and implement individualized intervention strategies
- Knowledge of IEP process and relevant documentation
- Adaptable and responsive to students’ diverse learning and developmental needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify fine motor, sensory, social, and functional needs within the educational setting
- Develop and implement customized occupational therapy interventions and activities
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for integrated student support
- Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide training and resources to school staff and caregivers as needed
- Contribute expertise to create an inclusive, supportive environment for all learners
