Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students within a school setting
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to manage caseload of around 50 students effectively
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct thorough evaluations and collaborate on IEP development
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support student goals
- Deliver therapy sessions individually and in small groups, adapting strategies as needed
