Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for working with a diverse population of students
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for OT services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with varying needs
- Document progress, goals, and outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide consultation and training for teachers and staff
- Adapt therapy approaches to support classroom participation and student progress
