Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school setting or a strong interest in pediatric/school-based OT
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Adaptability to a variety of student needs, ages, and developmental levels
What You’ll Do:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students per their IEPs during Extended School Year (ESY) programming, from July 8 to August 9
- Initially cover Wednesday mornings during ESY, with the possibility of additional days as program needs arise
- Assess, plan, implement, and document therapeutic interventions for students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and participation in the school environment
- Contribute to planning and team meetings as necessary
- Flexibility is essential—there may be potential to expand the role up to three days/week for the 2024/2025 academic year
