Step into a valued onsite role supporting students’ development as a school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) on a short-term contract. This assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through November 2, 2026, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact each school day. Working 37.5 hours per week with consistent hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (with a half-hour unpaid lunch), you’ll collaborate closely with students and staff, providing essential therapy and expertise in a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in an educational or school-setting strongly preferred
- Strong evaluation and report writing skills
- Comfortable presenting findings and collaborating with educators, families, and IEP teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive OT evaluations for students as required
- Prepare detailed written reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders
- Deliver direct, individualized therapy sessions to support students’ functional outcomes
- Develop and implement treatment plans and intervention strategies in accordance with IEP goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and ongoing communication with families
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all educational and professional guidelines
