Your day will run from 8:30AM to 3:30PM, providing consistent hours and the chance to work closely with a PreK caseload.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in New York
- Experience or comfort working within a school setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development, especially ages 3-5
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to PreK students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to PreK students on your caseload
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and document progress
- Develop treatment strategies that promote independence and participation in classroom activities
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create an inclusive, supportive environment
- Maintain clear and thorough records in compliance with school and district requirements
