Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Maine
- Previous experience in a school environment or working with school-aged children preferred
- Ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans for a diverse student population (K-12)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Effective time management to deliver therapy within the compressed summer program schedule
- Reliable, organized, and dedicated to student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver direct intervention services during ESY to support students’ educational goals
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to adapt and modify learning environments and materials
- Document progress notes, maintain compliance with school and state documentation requirements
- Provide consultation and strategies to staff and families to facilitate student participation and independence
- Adapt interventions for varying age and developmental levels as needed across K-12 students
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality at all times
