Qualifications & Experience:
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- At least one year of recent experience working as an OT in a school setting
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including educators, parents, and related service providers
- CSA on file (required prior to assignment start)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations from elementary through high school
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for students in accordance with IEP goals and district standards
- Provide direct therapy services to students, promoting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and participation in classroom activities
- Complete required documentation, progress notes, and maintain accurate records in a timely manner
- Work closely with teachers, families, and staff to support student success and adapt environments or materials as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff trainings as an OT specialist
