Key Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Minnesota
- Prior experience in K-12 settings, especially elementary schools, is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with staff, students, and families
- Must be able to work exclusively on-site; virtual/remote work is not an option
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students as part of a dynamic school-based team
- Participate in pre-term planning with other OTs to divide caseloads and schools effectively
- Assess students’ abilities and develop tailored intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families on student progress and support strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with relevant regulations
- Provide input during planning meetings and IEP development as needed
