Qualifications and Experience:
- Possesses a current and valid Maine Occupational Therapy license
- Direct experience or strong interest in working with elementary school-aged children

- Ability to design and implement therapy plans for diverse learners
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators and families
- Familiarity with IEP development and documentation is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized OT plans targeting educational success
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to 1st-5th graders across various classroom settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student participation and inclusion
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP teams
- Offer resources and strategies to staff for enhancing classroom accessibility and student engagement
This contract offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, providing a consistent routine to build relationships and see your students thrive.
